"Atelier Sophie is a mediocre game at best. The game is very colorful and it will make you smile if you're having a bad day but that alone doesn’t make this game a great game"
I'm not a fan of this review after reading it. The constant need for a jrpg to reinvent the wheel everytime argument is in the review which i find annoying. I also found the premise of the story to be interesting and not boring as the author puts it. I'm sorry they didn't decide to save the world at the onset like every other jrpg. Edit: I usually buy these types of games but my life as it is has made it hard to invest the hours needed to play it.
so reviewers have now turned against Atelier as well... I've always wondered why Neptunia games always get bad scores while Atelier games get good ones... but series are on par quality wise on my opinion
