DLC, Microtransactions, and Overwatch's Newest Controversy

Over the past week there has been growing sentiment among gamers, that Over watch's microtransactions are not consumer friendly. In fact many believe that the game should get rid of this awful DLC entirely. Poli Games host, Joseph, shares his thought on DLC, Microtransactions, and the way Blizzard can mend the problem, and make their customers happy.

What do you guys with about Overwatch's microtransactions? What do you think about DLC altogether, and where do you draw the line when it comes to DLC?

Loot boxes are no different than MTG card packs and if you play the game enough to care about the skins you should have several dozen boxes. I think loot box with 4 grabs is more than fair for a buck. That's essentially a 0.25 USD per item.

CS and others do crates; H1Z1 is utter bullshit with their buy key to open an earned crate and get one of x items in said crate, maybe.

I think the bigger issue is the actual game itself. To sell a game with such little content and to sway critics and websites through money and advertising is a scary thing. Overwatch is not game of the year, it's not groundbreaking, and it's not much better than Battleborn. Battlefront and SFV were strung up for their lack of content, even though they were gorgeous and had solid gameplay. Somehow Overwatch gets praised while making the same egregious errors.

Best multi-player fps to date in my opinion. More than enough characters and I have yet to grow tired of the levels. They are all very well done and its my impressions that none are better than the other.

buying a multiplayer game only that leak content with 60$ .... ok il pass that the game has microtransaction ... wtf the problem with this gen .... buy loots with real money that give u random items go f**** ****..

They don't bother me in the slightest because they're cheap and only give you cosmetic items. Everything you need to play the game fully is included with a purchase of the game. :)
