2K's Alfie Brody talks about Paul George being revealed as the cover star of NBA 2K17.
they should have just had steph again. or Westbrook. or Evan turner 😎
Step Curry was already on the cover. I don't know why they picked Paul George. Sure he's a great player, but he hasn't been able to get the Pacers to the finals. He tries to do too much himself and really doesn't make the players around him better. I would have put Klay Thompson or even Kawhi Leonard on the cover before George. I'm not buying 2K17 anyways. I liked 2K15, but 2K16 took a step backwards for me. Game just doesn't feel right.
Ew 2K15 was lazy, it was the same game as the previous year. 2K16 was a vast improvement and arguably the best 2K in years. The moves were spliced together better, the cheese was cut down, they added loads of new animations and made it far more natural and fluid than before. The visuals are better and Ultimate Team is actually comparable to MUT now, it's legitimately fun. 2K16 is a masterpiece.
Even when the Spurs made it last it's not like it was on the back of kawhi, but still he would have been a better choice than George. Him or boban. 😎
@IamTylerDurden1 No where close to a masterpiece. The defense for your CPU guys still suck. They still watch guards take layups and don't help just like in NBA 2K14 & NBA 2K15. Even if you change defense to "guard the paint" CPU doesn't help or are always late helping. CPU also seems to get a ton of OR, even with bad rebounding teams. I can easily make videos of my big men standing around letting the CPU get OR. They box out maybe 50% of the time. The shooting doesn't feel as smooth as NBA 2K15. Shots all seem to come up short, even when you shoot late. Sure there are better visuals and more animation, but gameplay is hit or miss in many areas. I played NBA 2K16 for about a month and then moved back to NBA 2K15. I won't be buying NBA 2K17 at full price. Screw that. ***************************** ****************************** * ********************* @lobocob Yeah, I'm not saying that. I just think he's made a bigger impact for his team and the league this year then Paul George has done. I don't see the Pacers making it to the Finals again anytime soon. Cavs got destroyed last night. All you heard was Thompson for 3, Curry for 3. Green for 3 all night. lmao!!
Thank God it wasn't Curry!! :')
Sorry Steph couldn't make the cover photo shoot. He was to busy accepting his back to back MVP trophy.
Kawhi, Lowry, and Lillard are all upcoming stars, had all-star caliber seasons, and got further in the playoffs than PG.
He made a great comeback from the broken leg. They made a good choice.
That PR comment made no sense lol. Should of had Westbrook
I dont mind PG, but the reason I wouldn't put Westbrook because he was the cover boy for NBA Live 16.
I like westbrook but he throws a damn tantrum more often than not. Cant stand that
Kyle lowry destroyed him. We need a raptor on there!
My favorite athlete of all time, Kobe, gets one more cover. Maybe we'll see some legends covers down the road with him. I like PG, though.
Trash lol. #3 all time scoring, #1 all time playoff scorer, #16 all time in steals, #1 all time in assists by a shooting guard, one of the the most legendary franchises in sports all time leader in points, steals, and numerous other statistical Named by Magic among other Laker legends as the best Laker of all time, a sure fire first ballot HOF'er. 81 points, one of only two players to score forty on every team in the NBA other than the one team that he played for, third all time in forty point games, a streak of 9 straight forty point games, the second longest streak with 35+ points in a game with thirteen, a four game fifty point streak, set the NBA record and now shares it with Steph for threes made in a single game, second all time in 60 point games, only missed the playoffs once in twenty seasons (along with being the only player to spend an entire twenty year career with one team) five championships, 4 all star game MVPs, all time leading ASG scorer, tied for first with the most first team all defense selections, tied for first with the most all NBA first team selections, played through injury like almost no player that the game has ever seen, maintained a unparalleled level of long term sustained excellence until severe injuries derailed him. He was leading his team to playoffs and averaging 27+ points per game at 34 years old, and if it weren't for late injuries he very well could've overtaken Kareem as the all time scoring leader, and at worst would've surpassed Karl Malone , and that's with three seasons off of the bench due to coming to a team that had two all stars starting in their backcourt, he would've quite easily claimed the all time leading scoring crown if not for those two aforementioned things , the oldest player to score 60 in a game, and in his farewell game to boot, and maybe most complimentary, the GOAT in Michael Jordan viewed Kobe as being the closest to being his equal, and has openly stated that he thinks that Kobe is the one player that would quite possibly beat him 1 on 1. Yeah, really trash... just another hater.
@Kingdom I can understand that. Kobe is one of the few basketball players after Jordan who has had a career as great as Jordan, if not better. It's hard for me to pick a favorite of all time as I really liked Charles Barkley, Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, Michael Jordan, Yao Ming, Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, and Patrick Ewing.
Why are we talking 2K17, is it October???
I thought we were getting 2k16 on the PS4?
My Raptors played PG in the 1st round this year...he really is a superstar player, he's just not a household name. He's also a lock down defender, maybe only Kawhi beats him as a two way player.
I think PG13, Lillard, kawhii or jimmy butler would have been good choices
wtf really? Why Paul George? He didn't even make it to the first round of playoffs. Tons of players deserved it more. Westbrook, Lowry, Lillard, Derozan, Klay, etc. Going to get the Kobe edition...
After the injury that he had, the rehab, changing his play style, and becoming a top player in the NBA again. He deserves it.
They should of had Lebron James or Michael Jordan on the cover
Why lebron, did they include a qte where you cry after every missed shot
Well we have one of those people who dislikes LeBron just because.
I dislike him and every other player who flops and cries after the majority of missed shots. Its one of the reasons the game is in this watered down state and trust he isnt the only one. Funny he has no problem lowering his shoulder into a defenders chest but throws a fit when he misses, same with westbrook. Also dont get me started on his cramps...
