E3 2016 the Stage for Sony's PS4K Announcement?

With E3 2016 just around the corner, will Sony use the expo in Los Angeles, Californisa to finally reveal the rumored PlayStation 4K?

The story is too old to be commented.

Most likely will not be revealed at E3

That makes sense, Sony is going to be showing off games and games for VR. The last thing they want is to talk about a system that will play those same games better on a new console on stage.

It really doesn't matter what they do. The PS4 snowball is halfway down the mountain and nothing can stop it. That includes big mistakes from Sony. IMHO

If the Scorpio rumors are to be believed, that snowball will halt and melt. Even if Sony does announce Neo, MS will grab E3 by the nuts.

Sony is currently ahead by 20 million worldwide and has a dominate control on all regions of the market. This gen has already been decided no matter what Microsoft tries to pull.

I'm hoping they release info on the console. This is especially crucial to people buying VR and crucial for them to beat out Xbox if they decide Scorpio will be shown.

Im buying the Psvr and i have no intwrntion or want for a measly mid gen upgrade. It isnt crucial as i wont need a non existant console to play a very real accessory.

Xbox already jumped the gun once with an early release of the 360. Main difference was they had games that were exclusive to it to drive sales. But in the end, world wide sony still sold more because even after all of ms exclusives, sony has more. Whats worse for ms is they have no way to combat the psvr.

PGW is in oct tho. Announcing a system that supposedly releases in oct at an event IN oct would be a bad move.

Another one of these huh?

None of them will announce more powerful consoles. None of the companies can risk effecting current sales by announcing new versions that could be months away. I expect it will be about games again this year, Sony know they can't do proper demos of VR on stage so will announce games for it but I imagine it will be about exclusives for the PS4 and what their studios have been up to over the last 12 months.
