Have you ever wanted to see a metroidvania game made out of the likes of Metal Slug or Gunstar Heroes? If so, then you're in luck, because Portugese developers Tio Atum have now begun the Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming action game Greedy Guns.
COGconnected - Greedy Guns, from Indie developers Tio Atum, brings a twist on the classic Metroidvania genre and proves that money really does make the world go round.
I really like the idea of an exploration-heavy run-and-gun. Mercenary Kings kind of scratched that itch, and this looks to take it one step further.

Bryan Rumsey writes: "It really has something going for it and, despite being a conglomeration of ideas from other games, has the opportunity to be greater than the sum of its parts. Currently Greedy Guns is a mediocre game that will be enjoyable but ultimately forgotten to time. It does, however, have the capacity to sit next to the greats of the genre with just a little bit of polish and care."
