The Wii U may lacked the success that Nintendo’s previous home console had, but Nintendo still managed to put out high quality games for the system. Really great sales.
Mostly good games, and very good sales (all things considered), but its kind of amusing that pretty much all of these games have Mario in the title. We always get told that other kinds of gamers only buy shooters (and apparently, they're chavs), but Nintendo gamers buy a variety and are somehow different.. Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bayonetta, Pokken tournament, Fatal Frame, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Hyrule warriors, etc couldn't outsell Mario Party 10, or break into the top 10..
Wii U software sales, especially for the top games are something else. I mean, Splatoon is the highest selling console exclusive in years for a new IP.
Nintendo continues to sell a boat load of software.
