Anthony Snellings of Untold Gaming writes, "According to industry insider Serkan Toto, Capcom will officially announce the release of Resident Evil 7 at this summer’s E3. Described as a “clean slate”, Resident Evil 7 is expected to be a return to form for the series, embracing the “horror roots” of the once great franchise."
In a very recent development, Capcom has announced that the VR mode for the “Resident Evil 4” remake is scheduled to be added on the 8th of December as an update and will support the full main story campaign, offering an unprecedented gaming experience to its users. However, RE Series fans have another reason to rejoice as there is a possibility that RE Series might get a VR Version in the future.
Resident Evil boasts a lot of elements, and these games took clear inspiration from the series.
With a Resident Evil 5 remake seeming increasingly likely, this Umbrella Chronicles story deserves to be expanded.
People really think they're going to remake part 5? But it wasn't really good or memorable... in fact I don't even remember what it was about lol.
Resident Evil isn't what it used to be but I still consider them to be good games, I don't mind what direction Resi 7 takes!
They've got a lot to live up to following the shadow of games like P.T, Amnesia, Outlast and the like.
Something that's as far away from RE6 as possible would be nice.
Well,Considering we're getting a RE 2 make , Revelations Series still continue don't mention RE 5-6 is Capcom best selling game of company. i can't see RE 7 go back to the root .
best case is they do like RE 4 or RE 6 Leon Campaign .
They will say it is...but they always say that. They've said that since RE5
RE5, Revelations, RE6, Revelations 2 and so on
