CD Projekt RED on E3 being essential: 'It depends on what kind of game you are'

Gaming has so many events throughout the year, as it is starting to seem like you could tag each month with an event of its own, and in some cases a second. E3 has been a staple for the gaming industry over the years, and much like the rest of the industry, things are changing and changing fast.

I don't know what kind of game I am. If I was a first person shooter, I'd probably be dead or in prison. I guess I'm an RPG, even though my stats are quite poor.

I remember seeing witcher 3 at its reveal at e3 and thinking wow a game. Didn't hear or see anything on it to like a month before release and then remembered that e3 trailer and bought it at launch. E3 is important.

That would suck if publishers decided that E3 isn't cost effective. It's for the fans!
