Interesting stuff, I especially agree with his last statement about pre-rendered trailers and footage.

Maybe Crytek needs to focus more on other things besides pretty graphics. All their fricking games sucks at gameplay, Story and overall presentation.

anything anyone ever says is always in their opinion. We don't have to keep saying it at the end of every sentence. It would be too annoying.

In my opinion they have many games with great gameplay. Of course, as well as crysis i also enjoyed ryse, so is my opinion Worth listening to? Maybe not for you, but for me it is the only one that counts when i enjoy something.
But that's just my opinion.

Crytek is famous for their engine which other thousands of other devs use. They have total authority to make such comments.
Crysis games play just as good as any other FPS. I'd question whether you've actually played them. The thing is the graphics are so advanced for their time that the game itself is often overlooked. I'm not a fan of the franchise personally but Crysis 3 still looks far better than anything I've seen on a console to date and its 4 years old.

So the state of things with DX12 and Vulkan is that, now that the training wheel are off and the parent has let go of the seat, devs are wobbling and falling over right now.
