Wasn't there a perk for that in New Vegas?

DarkOcelet3272d ago

Its sad that New Vegas got alot of hate when it did so many things right.

Yea but when the core game is a copy and paste of fallout 3 it kinda just felt like giant fallout 3 dlc.... like so much recycled stuff

Elit3Nick3272d ago

It just felt so unengaging, the map was wildly inconsistent and dull than Fallout 3's map while still being noticeably smaller and more restricted. The game also crammed so many weapons and ammo types, most of them useless or obsolete 20 minutes into the game, down your throat. And finally the storyline was too extravagant that I just couldn't immerse myself into it, even now I still haven't finished the game, and neither has a lot of my friends.

@Fries1223

It might have been recycled but they did improve many things aside from the gameplay.

@Elit3Nick

I honestly thought it was better than Fallout 3 but thats just my opinion but what really disappointed me is that both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are a much better experiences than Fallout 4. This whole Settlement Bull$hit and the building mechanics were so underwhelming. And not to mention that the story and the ending options really sucked and the absence of the RPG mechanics in both the dialogue and the gameplay made it so dull.

This is the way it should have been. Dogmeat, although a great companion, doesn't possess the ability to fire weapons, therefore-- he's not a true companion. And yes, New Vegas did allow for this, which is why New Vegas still has so many fans to this day.

The only downside is that if you use the mods, you lose the achievements. Not the end of the world, but for me, I would only use necessary mods that improve gameplay, not over-power my character, so looks like I'll have to start a new save for Fallout 4 just for mods.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast27d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos27d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar129d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082128d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
