The PlayStation 4 is one of Sony’s most successful consoles. It is currently the leading current-generation console in sales. However, one of this year’s most anticipated games, the Battlefield 1, has Xbox One branding on a co-marketing deal between EA and Microsoft.
This week, during EA’s Investor Day Briefing, EA got asked whether this will have any impact on Battlefield 1’s sales or not. Andrew Wilson, the CEO of EA, said that this arrangement won’t be a turn off for PlayStation gamers.
PS5 Pro owners will be in for a treat with the new Battlefield game currently being developed by DICE based on playtester info.
While thats great... keep in mind that COD has been 120 FPS on PS5 for quite some time... and even supports 120 FPS on Series S. So it would be nice if they could push for 120 FPS on base consoles in the new Battlefield as well.
DICE is changing the gun customization in the new Battlefield game, and it's one that emphasizes balance and personalization.
The in-development new Battlefield game will feature body-dragging, and we have our first look. Squad emblems confirmed too.
So this means EA going show the first ever gameplay demo footage of Battlefield 1 at Microsoft E3 press conference next month. Can't wait!
No it definitely won't turn me off. I still want my battlefield
No, because I recognize it's all business and I'm not an emotional fanboy. Goes both ways. Destiny is the most bullying in this regard. There can't be a single bit of content injection without Playstation getting that extra layer of exclusive stuff.
Doesn't matter! Sony has the COD deal, and Microsuave has the BF deal. EA wouldn't be in the same umbrella as their competition.
