Nate Drake’s rollicking third adventure is still an incredibly fun last-gen feat.
The problem with Uncharted 3 is that it starts really slow but it gets better.
The U3 somw hate is not really the one I remember. The game was really epic. It had its issues, but it was fun and epic
I've always liked UC3.
I think UC3 is a phenomenal game. I don't remember ever hating anything about it. Dramatic much Gin? I just don't remember any negative things about UC3. I enjoyed it. I don't get your attack
Jeez no one said anyone hated anything. There are more words out there other than "Like" and "Hate".
3 only got hate because it came after 2. It was a brilliant game, I had a lot of fun repaying it recently. The ship level, the cargo plane, the horses, the increased use of stealth. Chloe. I had no problems with this game whatsoever.
I agree. Personally I like it the best of the first 3 games. I didn't understand why so many people were let down. The water graveyard and ship levels, improved melee combat, and what I felt were more fun environments make it the best in my book. UC2 was great but I like 3 better. If others feel the opposite that's fine but I remember people really dissing it.
Uncharted 3 is the only one I haven't beat. The aiming felt so off in the campaign. Even after they patched it. Couldn't play it.
If you play the collection, aiming's all good. But jeez you must be really really weird to not want to play a game just because of the aiming being slightly off. I mean, yeah I felt it too, but I don't worship aiming, especially when all aiming with controllers feels weird compared to mouse.
Unless you blindfire or use melee only... I found it decent.
I really like 3 but when I played it again in the collection I realised I had forgotten how short it is.
Wow, a positive article about UC3. I have only seen hate pieces since 4 came out.
Uncharted 3 was an amazing game. But somewhere down the line enough idiot trolls congregated on the internet to give it a bad rep. Critics and fans as a whole loved it and it was MAYBE tiny fractions inferior to the second one.
Wait where did it get a bad rep?
When it released people went crazy bashing it. I thought it was the best one but I understand if others liked 2 better. There was a lot of negativity towards UC3 in the beginning.
As much as i dont like to admit it, but I thought Uncharted 3 was a massive disappointment, compared to the near majesty that was Among Thieves. So much so, that I skipped TLOU on its initial release on PS3. Thankfully I came to my senses and picked up the Remastered version on PS4. And f**king loved it. U3's set-pieces were spectacular; but the story lacked coherence, the villain's were forgettable charactures, the multiplayer lacked the chaotic looseness of UC2...as a whole it seemed a bit soulless...
I thought Uncharted 3 was fantastic.
Are you saying I enjoyed it even MORE than I enjoyed it?!?
I like 3 the best. Still haven't played 4 but I will very very soon.
I loved Uncharted 3 but I do have two distinct criticisms of the game. The first being the aiming system, which just didn't feel as good as the one used in UC2. It was improved with the aiming patch that came out shortly after the game was released but really wasn't fixed until the Uncharted Collected on the PS4. It never ruined the game for me and I learned to adjust, but it's worth noting. The other criticism I have with the game regards the story and the loose ends regarding Talbot, Marlowe, and Drake's ancestry. Talbot's seeming invulnerability and Marlowe's hinting at Drake's real ancestry were never explained. All in all minor criticisms, but criticisms none the less.
