Whilst I'm not attracted to the animu art-style in general, I never understood the derision people face when admitting they like a certain style. These characters, animu or not, are still deliberately drawn to have a staunchly humanoid appearance, and I think it's not outlandish to presume a human would be attracted to even vaguely humanoid characteristics and features. Why do you think the Asari are so intensely beloved from the Mass Effect franchise?

People like you aren't clever or enlightened just because you think you're above it all for praising "real women" over fictitious depictions of characters. You could express all your lustful adulation for somebody like Scarlet Johansson but you know you'd never get a shot with her IRL, so what's the difference on the surface? Mmmmm, I would prefer D:Va! I mean, Tracer's fun and I thought its completely understandable why people loved her so much, but then again I didnt realize how many other amazing and adorable characters the game had until I played the beta.

I have never had a crush on a video game character before, plus shes an amazing tank. Really loved playing as D:Va in the beta :3
