The dust of 2016 has finally settled and we grogs have hunkered down, frantically scanning the horizon for whatever may come next.
Josh Griffiths writes: "It’s not the setting itself that sells these games though. All of the successful campaigns had at least one of two things going for them: unique ideas or nostalgia. The failed campaigns had only tired tropes going for them. What sells is a good game, first and foremost – which isn’t to say that good games always sell."
People still love ww2 games, and it's only going to get worse when cod is released.
Josh Griffiths writes: "Historical games are incredibly important and can be a lot of fun, so why do they have such a poor track record when it comes to crowdfunding?"
I'm gonna venture to say that it's because they take more effort than 2d pixel plqtformers.
