The Division Sentry's Call Gear Set Nerf Incoming

Ubisoft Massive are watching Tom Clancy's The Division very closely and are aware of a crippling glitch involving the Sentry's Call gear set.

That's dumb, why not just kill the perk if the person is killed/downed. I mean any other game once you are downed/killed you lose the special attribute until you are able to acquire it again... should be the same here. I don't see what's so difficult should be 3 lines of code tops to add that conditional if statement in there. Boosh you're welcome massive.

I don't see how this glitch works as it is an 8 seconds bonus. I don't think this is real. I call shenanigans on this one. In think people just want it nerfed.

Good few videos on YouTube, didn't believe myself until I watched them.

Heh look it's another god awful Division glitch that is totally game breaking. Why do these morons at Massive still have jobs?

Really? Morons? How old are you?

Kingdomcome2473328d ago

I ask this question in all seriousness. Who here still plays this regularly? I haven't played in about 2 weeks, and neither have my friends really. I got my gear score to 216, my dps to 226,000, health to 81,000, skill power to 19,500, armor maxed at 65%, damage to elites and protection from elites both at 40% or so, and there's just nothing left. I have the majority of each of the gear set pieces, I got the Warlord, the Valkyrie, and the 90DZ lvl Police M1A. I'll probably go back when season pass content drops.

With a gear score like that and high % on your perks , you must have played a hell of alot. No wonder you got bored , do you have a life outside of gaming ?

Utalkin2me3327d ago (Edited 3327d ago )

So let me get this straight you have 40% damage to elites and 40% protection from elites, with only having 6 pieces a gear and the holster doesnt even allow you to have either on it. So really only 5. And you can only have one or the other on a piece of gear. I think the highest i have seen is 11% of dmg/protection from elites. So mathematically this doesn't work.

But some people didn't play 24/7 to achieve what you did in so little time. I still play it every single day and do my dailys and DZ some if i have time.

Drekken3327d ago

I haven't played in a few weeks because of people like you. 216GS - You exploited the hell out of the incursion. The people that did this over and over basically ruined the game for anyone looking to be legit. It is good to know that you also ruined the game for yourself. Cheating and exploiting online games is never acceptable. I am sure you are already thinking of 100 defenses to make your actions explainable. Save them. I don't care.

Kingdomcome2473326d ago (Edited 3326d ago )

I glitched the incursion twice and beat it twice. Do I have a life outside of gaming? Not really. I manage a Gamestop that typically requires 50+ hours a week of me, and I'm a passionate gamer outside of that with a fiancee that thankfully enjoys watching me play. I have 127 hours into The Division. Not too bad. I was wrong on my Elite stats. I have 31% damage 7% protection. Mixed them up with some of my exotic damage resistance.

That is an irresponsible headline. There is a difference between fixing a glitch and nerfing equipment.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno804d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic804d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman804d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon804d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
