When one thinks of an iconic gaming character to represent PlayStation, many may think of Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot, or, perhaps, the company’s other symbolic character – Nathan Drake. During the PS3 era, the Uncharted trilogy and Nathan Drake were the closest things one could call a mascot for the PlayStation brand. Naughty Dog has evolved since their early days, but their goal of delivering revolutionary and innovative software remains a principal ideal within the company. As we saw on the PS1 with Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter for PS2, and on PS3 with the Uncharted trilogy and The Last of Us, Naughty Dog is a company that likes to push the limits of video entertainment, and they continue that trend with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for PS4.
