Full Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered Reveal Trailer Officially Released

Apparently, due to this morning’s leak, Infinity Ward and Activision decided to release the full Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer ahead of time.

This is actually a longer version, including a trailer confirming the remaster of Modern Warfare.

Why the dislike for your comment? What happened to games that had full amount of content and when content was also unlockable. Now, we get a smaller amount of maps to start off with, we have to pay even more for DLC (which in total is more than the game itself), and they cut game modes. It's annoying. It's money grubbing,

How? Just because of the somewhat similar setting? The gameplay mechanics obviously are going to be similar, just like in any game series. Uncharted 4 plays a lot like the previous games and has a lot of other similarities, for example, but that's what is expected of games in a series.

I've never been a huge fan of Call of Duty, but the nitpicking and double standards some people have about it (and certain other series) are pretty ridiculous.

They aren't obligated to to throw every piece of content that was DLC for the original and put it in the remake. I am sick of the entitlement people think they have. They are charging only 20 bucks for it with the legendary edition of Infinite Warfare which is more than a fair price.

For me this is the first cod that I'm pretty hyped up for since MW3. It looks drastically different. In addition to having 2 Naughty Dog veterans on this game, this is Infinity Ward's redemption shot and "Warfare" in the title alone already means that the game's guaranteed to be good. Don't be surprised if this ends up being one of the best CODs.

The space battles will be cool though I'm sure and there was the bit where they were going through the dark corridor with torch of the gun, looked a bit horror like at that bit but over I wasn't impressed. I think blops 3 last year looked better.

Clown, I'm not a cod hater. I don't play it but I don't like it. I wouldn't usually comment on COD at all but I was bored and watched the trailer and really wasn't impressed. I've even defended the franchise against people saying it should die and praised the devs for the content heavy blops 3. It is possible for some to really not like the look of an entry. It's not like you'd have seen me in every other cod article ever crapping on the series.

I agree with you that a lot of people just hate on it now. I played modern warfare 1 and 2 and blops 1 and that was enough for me, cuz I felt they were much the same and I don't play it for the mp. I did end up getting advanced warfare though as a gift and I thought that was pretty decent. Activision's press release "a return to roots" statement is about the scale of the games as opposed to returning COD to a more plausible setting such as WW2. They just don't seem to get it that we gamers liked the transition from historical warfare to modern warfare in COD Modern Warfare because at the time there had been a glut of WW2 shooters and strategy games that made gamers wish for something new. COD MW took the fps forward with the game mechanics as well as more relatable war environments away from the grand scale in the light of Desert Storm, 9/11, the invasion of Iraq and the rise of terrorism to what we have now with the likes of ISIS. The futuristic settings since "Ghosts" have taken COD farther away from reality and plausibility to what we are getting this year, "Infinite Warfare". These games are now only called "Call of Duty" but sadly lack the spirit and vision of the first 5 games - Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, COD Modern Warfare, COD World at War, COD MW 2 (not including Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty Finest Hour and The Big Red one, which were console exclusives and still better games than the last 4 we have had.)

The fact that thé inclusion of a fully remastered Modern Warfare is getting more approval from gamers than the new Infinite Warfare should give Activision pause for thought. I suspect the developers themselves know that Infinite Warfare is so far away from what we all consider 'proper' COD that they have decided to include a remastered version of Modern Warfare knowing that most of us will buy the game just to enjoy that. They can then delude themselves that Infinite Warfare was a huge success even if it fails to live up to the spirit and quality of the older companion.

I think I'm at the point where I will only be buying Treyarch CODs unless the games come back to modern times or back to World War 2. 3Arc is my favorite COD dev, so even if they stay futuristic, one COD every 3 years will be good for me (but I hope they come back to more modern times, I'm getting sick of all the futuristic stuff lending itself to cheap tactics). Ironically, if IW had just touched up some of the issues from Ghosts, I think I would have been happy. Who knows, maybe this new one can win me over...but right now I'm just wondering if I will be able to buy JUST the remaster.

On-the rails space flight is a probability, but it does look better than the last 3 COD games. That being said, not better than COD 4 MW, so I'm wondering why we only saw a good 10 seconds (maybe less) of gameplay footage. Did they make any signficant changes or is it literally a remaster? COD:MW original 10 maps are legendary, not sure why folks would complain about not including the other 6. If you ever played back then, you could live with playing just the 10. Some of the maps were a lot bigger than they are now and a lot more exciting with better spawn points, which is why most would consider COD:MW one of the best in the series. I for one am very excited to play both. Wonder if it'll continue my stats from where I left off from so long ago...
