New Valkyrie Profile Game Valkyrie Anatomia Officially Releases Today; Gets Launch Trailer

After its availability as pre-download started yesterday, today Square Enix officially launched in Japan the prequel to the Valkyrie Profile series, Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin.

Sort of looks like "Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria" which was on the PS2 except of course the graphics is allot better.

Unfortunately this is on mobile and to-date I have never found an RPG on those platforms that I could get interested in although I think I have been spoiled by using a controller. Touch screens and small ones at that for gaming are not immersive enough for me no matter what the resolution.

Personally if people like hand-held gaming then fine, but I do prefer a larger or virtually larger screen.

I started it a few hours ago, its quite fun and getting harder with each quest

ok so why the **** isnt this for vita or psn? Most people who play games on their phones wont even know about this series

huh yes many actually do, the game was released for Japan and a lot of Japanese have moved away from consoles to play mobile games.

Maybe in japan but most of the people who are fans of this series are gamers on consoles.

Western side no doubt about it but just trying to say that most of those fans on the region game just released (JP) has moved to mobile...
I myself still play on consoles mostly (casualy on PC, almost non existent on mobile) and do want a propel Valkyrie Profile (and still hoping that it is with Hrist as main ) but the Japanese market is switching sides alot and guess they dont think that here on western part of the World many fans would buy a new VP... Lets see what the producer of SO5 achives!
