It’s often the simplest of games that show the most genius. Think of Super Mario Bros., think of Bust-a-Move, think of Plants vs. Zombies and Angry Birds. Think of anything, in fact, except Pang Adventures. That may sound bitter, cold and cruel, because it is. It’s not that Pang Adventures is a particularly bad game – it’s not – it’s just that the game is so severely limited as to be a barrier to long-term fun.
It’s impossible to not have fun when you start playing Pang Adventures. But that fun gives way to frustration, which leads to apathy. Sorry to burst your bubble, but in the end, Pang Adventures just feels like the ultimate grind.
