That sounds reasonable. They arent cheap and however fun we've had be game changing tech in the past that didn't live up to the hype. Hopefully VR won't burn out though, I'd like to see it doing well
It's true, this is just the first wave for enthusiasts but I don't see this going mainstream for quite a while,
The issue with this is all it will take is a VR only game that becomes all the rage, more powerful and cheaper hardware. I would expect some real price adjustments come Christmas as companies will be pushing to get more consumers on board.
That's a fair view, it's not like the tech is cheap. Always takes awhile for new stuff to catch on
For so many years, all we got was something bigger, but not exactly new, so it makes sense for some to push VR as much as they are doing since it's something different. I honestly don't see it become big in the near future, you need to spend quite a bit of money to get started on VR, and these costs aren't justified by the titles that have been announced so far
