1UP: Monster Madness: Grave Danger Review

1UP doesn't pretend to know what was going through the heads of the people who designed action-horror hack-n-slasher Monster Madness: Grave Danger, but after playing through it, they can only imagine the meetings that took place. Someone in the studio must've decided that everything about Grave Danger was simply "good enough" -- it's been a long time since 1UP has played a game that felt so rushed and half-assed. The basic game isn't terrible -- and might've been fun if it were a short, downloadable game -- but it's so uninspired and repetitive that it gets increasingly mind-numbing with each hour it drags on.

Thunderbolt: Monster Madness: Grave Danger Review

Sadly, for a retail game it's a substandard repetitive game that should only be considered if at a bargain price or if you have 3 other friends willing to play with you. To give the game some credit, the slaughtering of near endless amounts of monsters is satisfying, almost nostalgic; offering a rose tinted reminder of simpler times. Not to mention the ample hours of gameplay, if your willing to put aside the annoyances.
