Funny how studios can exploit gamers, but when gamers exploit video games… Tom Clancy’s The Division has had some pretty bad press since Update 1.1 hit. So it’s game over for Ubisoft’s MMO-lite cover shooter. Apparently.
2025 cloud gaming trends are looking good, but it’s not all smooth yet. We break down what’s working, what’s not, and what comes next.
As someone who has been gaming nearly as long as gaming has been around (since the early 70's), you'd think I'd be against this. Having grown up with all the major platforms and the whole notion of physical ownership... but I'm not. i embrace this as it is a revolutionary convenience. And one i know for a fact many (especially here) have not even given the fair chance to use. I get it... i was there too. But now i have a new outlook on it. It really is a hell of an option if you just want to play with no commitments. By no means am i saying this should replace traditional gaming, its an option. And one that people should look at optimistically as a way to compliment traditional gaming. There is room for both to thrive.
Blacknut has announced a brand new partnership with Kalypso Media. This will see Kalypso's gaming portfolio arrive on Blacknut.
The partnership will take hold from June 27th with the arrival of a selection of Klaypos Media titles onto the Blacknut cloud gaming platform.
The cuts are expected to be announced next week.
Microsoft is also planning thousands of job cuts that will impact other parts of it businesses
MFs has been beating their chests over great quarterly results and big profits to shareholders while firing people by the thousands just like Sony.
I wonder if at the top of those rumored layoffs they´ll also cancel upcoming or unannounced games while shutting down more studios as well.
I played the hell out of the division hardcore for like the first 3-4 weeks. I started to get burnt out before the incursion dropped and when it finally came out I only tried it a handful of times to be greeted with a myraid of errors/glitchs/console freezes (PS4).
I pretty much haven't played it since. http://divisiontracker.com/... here's my division tracker to show my hours played and stuff.
I impulse bought the season pass the 2nd week it was out.. (stup[id stupid me.. I'm such a sucker hahaha) I contacted PSN and tried to get a refund on it since the content hasn't been released yet but they shot me down.
Either way. I've been playing MLB: The Show 16 and checking out all the new stuff on Fallout 4. Uncharted 4 around the corner and then NMS in June.
I should have been smarter this time around but Ubisoft got me again, haha. Oh well I might play it here and there periodically. I'll definitely keep an eye on the updates they give it.
It's dead. But like destiny and battlefront, I'd be interested in the sequel. Seems like this gen has been full of let downs and mediocrity. There's probably more than one reason for this
because i am still playing it .... so not that dead i guess
It's just sleeping.
