AiAi and friends come to the Nintendo Wii! An all-action extravaganza of unique new puzzles and madcap multiplayer gameplay, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz takes the ground-breaking Nintendo Wii controller and shows the world exactly what it can do!
Phil writes, "A good boss battle sticks with you for all the right reasons, and soon after beating it, you want to go back and do it all over again. The bosses on this list, however, are the absolute opposite of that, for the most part. These are annoying, broken, unfair, poorly designed, or just plain old disappointing. Whatever the case may be, the following boss battles lean more towards bad than fun, and as we'll see, even the greatest of games can have lulls in excitement and entertainment when it comes to their bosses while some shouldn't have included them to begin with."
Released for the Wii in 2006, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz got a lot of flack for its unwieldy motion controls.
With the Switch bringing interest back into the realm of motion controls, it seems as good a time as any to dip back into the backlog and retrieve some lucrative nuggets from the one that launched the phenomenon in the first place: the Nintendo Wii.
finally a kids game on the Wii, lol
I bet Nintendo wish that they had the exclusive Resident Evil series they had before, now. Imagine how Resident would feel on the Wii.
I don't care about demographics or any type of graphics for that sake. I'm a gamer. I'm not a graphicser or a mature-title-onlyer. The essence of gaming is to HAVE FUN and enjoy the time you spend gaming. I won't disregard a game just because it looks cartoony or non-realistic. Our imaginations are rarely ever that way and we can't have fun without an imagination (unless one draws undue pleasure from really weird things). The older you get, the more you realize what the purpose of games is. When you play a game that has fantastic graphics, there comes a point when you don't notice the graphics anymore. Imagine Unreal Tournament with completely bland walls... You can still find your way around and have fun fragging your friends. The graphics play only an initial role of drawing gullible people to buy the game. I personally enjoy graphics like in Super Monkey Ball and LoZ: The Wind Waker. They add a style to the game that cannot be replaced by better graphics. What would Super Monkey Ball look like with realistic graphics? Dumb, that's what.
