10 Reasons Why No Man's Sky Will Be Awesome

No Man's Sky looks like an amazing game. But it has it's fair share of criticism. Here are 10 reasons this game this game will be awesome!

That maybe so, but the details of what each of these 'play styles' are still not totally apparent. For instance, to be an explorer, you have to trade, for ships, suits and fuels. To trade, you need goods, so you have to explore. You mine, for goods, and risk the wrath of the roboty things, so you're a pirate.

You mention them like they have exclusive styles of play, but my worry is that absolutely dont, its just the same thing, the same style,rebranded to give the game more of a perceived 'depth'.

BIG worries about this game. The chief worry is how little im starting to care, where as at the outset this was a masterpiece for me, im now pretty sick of the same videos over and over. I'm really hoping they've held back around 60% of what else there is to do/see.

I agree completely. We still don't have an honest idea of what it's truly like to play this game. Will definitely be checking out streams and reviews before purchasing.

I'm content on letting this one go a few weeks before I pick it up. Even then I need to decide if I want to get it on PC or PS4. A lot depends on what the Clan decides, but I get the feeling this game is not going to offer much in clan based play. I am curious to see if the PC version will have HOTAS play or not. I am guessing not with how you can explore on the planets too.

I agree with you up until the 'worry' part.

You're right, I think, that in order to be successful as one of those 'roles', you need to dip into the others, but clearly you can go full-on space dick and shoot everything to crap. If you do that, you'll want the best guns and armour and you'll need a ship built like a tank too.

If, on the other hand, you want to focus on trading, you can likely buy much of what you need, reducing the need to mine, thereby reducing the risk of conflict and the need for meaty weapons and armour. What you will need instead is a ship with larger cargo capacity.

It's just options as to how you play the game; you don't select a class, you just do things your way and I don't expect there's anything stopping you from starting more safely as a trader and then going full on rogue once you've acquired the means to purchase all the best stuff to maim with so you can just take what you want from others.

What that means to me is that I can get my fix of blowing sh!t up when I feel like it and then I can play a more serene way when I'm chilling out before bed, for example.

This game is more developed than an assassin's creed game... Some people think developed means realistic graphics... Need to learbs there is more to life than realistic graphics...
