Valley, in development from Blue Isle Studios, makers of the popular horror game Slender: The Arrival, promises a first-person adventure like none other. Players will pilot the L.E.A.F. exosuit, powering up their physical abilities to unheard of levels then exploring the massive world from above and below -- dashing over landscapes, leaping between structures, all while wielding control over both life and death.
Aaron plays some Valley on the Switch and relearns how much fun it can be to walk, run and jump.
Valley might be more like a book than a video game; you pick it up, you experience its story to your satisfaction, you put it down.
COGconnected: Valley is full of soul and rich with life, yet even with beautiful graphics and an enjoyable narrative, there isn't much reason to come back to this overly serene sleeper.
Interesting how this bargain bin not-well received on other platforms tile is the life of the party on the Switch.
Wooow this looks pretty cool
This game looks amazing, some next level walking sim, this would probably be insane in vr.
Was going to say "walking sim", but after the trailer getting a strong Bioshock/Portal vibe.
I sort of loving this right now.
Alot of originality, and the level design looks really unique.
So is this the first running sim, then? ;)
