Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.
Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.
The only one I’d disagree with is doom. It shows its age badly I think. After 5 minutes of play these days you put it down.

I was in the Alpha on the PS4, and holy cow it was so bad, the devs are obviously aiming to be a Unreal Tournament or Quake type of MP but damn even those games the characters feel somekind of heaviness on them and the weapons feel it definitely have some punch in them, in Doom 4 MP all damn guns sound like toys, your character movement feels like you are controlling a damn balloon and the most hilarious/embarrassing thing I remember when playing the alpha was the seeing an enemy transforming into a monster and see him walk/run seriously not joking it look like an ostrich running LOL!, so after seeing some beta videos they haven't fixed a damn thing!.
In the end I was interested in Doom 4 for the single player part I hope that doesn't disappoint!, Doom 3 was and still is a masterpiece lets see if devs can reach that level of awesomeness with Doom 4, fingers crossed!
Haven't played any doom games before so I don't really know how people were expecting it to play. Having said that, I played a couple of games and it was fun enough. There's nothing special about it though and I certainly wouldn't spend money on it.
