Uncharted 4's Level List Might Have Been Just Leaked

Uncharted 4's level list appeared for a moment during one of the GDC 2016 talks hosted by Naughty Dog.

The length of play will be different for everyone especially given that several levels look to have multiple paths allowing you to choose your own play style. The quality will be top notch.

Yup, it's a meaty campaign alright accompanied by a great mp too, this is how you give value to consumers, this game makes other recently released TPS games a joke when it comes to getting bang for your buck, great job ND.

But on the whole, Naughty Dog said openly this will be the longest Uncharted yet.

That's quite a bit then. Your right that some maybe short tough. But knowing NaughtyDog all levels will be focused on gameplay.

It's more like the number of place rather than levels. There are about 20 distinct settings listed and if each place has at least 2 chapters on them, we're talking about at least 40 chapters there.

If I recall correctly, every previous game had from 18-22 chapters, but like you said, some chapters would be taken during the same level. These didn't look to be chapter names but actual locations like you said, so I'd say we are looking at around 30 chapters...that'd be my guess. Really seems like Druckman wasn't joshing when he said it'd be the biggest & longest Uncharted yet. That's how you send a game off properly. If I get a similar run time for UC4 as we got for TLOU, I'd be happy...if it's longer, I'll be ecstatic.

It has to be, this must be the reason why we've never heard of him and why Marlowe never either. I was actually scared ND would leave this plot hole but I guess they won't. Thank god.

It could be where he met Rafe aswell. There's a little theory I came across on an Uncharted fan page which seems like it could be true

"Does anyone think ND is trying to trick us with the Story trailer. No matter how many times I watch it, one of those young boys at the start of the trailer looks more like Rafe not a young Nathan Drake which we are lead to believe. We are supposed to think it's Nathan while the older looking one driving the bike is Sam (like how they change the shot of an older Nate and Sam on the bike).

However facial feature wise the younger one looks more like Rafe not to mention the fact the older looking one has a shirt which is similar to the baseball red shirt seen in early Drakes Fortune trailers and an unlockable costume within the games.

What if Sam isn't Nates real brother and the person Nate was hanging out with was a young Rafe. This explains why Sam wasn't with Nate in Columbia when he went to steal Sir Francis Drakes ring and if one of the gameplay videos is to be believed Nate and Sam came up with the Sir Francis theory together...so why wasn't Sam with Nate helping him steal the ring.

Maybe they just became close friends within the Sir Francis Boys home, came up with the Sir Francis Drake theory together to mask their shitty childhood, ran away together and never really stuck together much, just off and on friendship. Sam pursued other things while Nate really got into the Sir Francis Drake stuff by himself"

That is interesting...so I'm a little unclear on the theory though, is the theory that Rafe may be Sam's actual blood brother while Nate is the one Sam considers his real brother? That could make for some cool narrative potential & it would fit w/in the themes being built.

Sam is getting torn in two directions & at one point in the trailer Rafe specifically offers only Nate the option to leave now or stay & die while not mentioning Sam, could he have captured Sam at that point and is telling Nate to leave them, forcing Nate to make a choice to stick around and protect Sam at his own peril or go back to Elena?

That's a good possibility...most of what we've seen so far seems to include Sam but there's at least a couple times where they've been separated, first during the heist scene leading into the E3 demo from last year where they are heading toward the tower, then again in Madagascar.

Sam will most likely be in a large chunk but not all of it...I'm hoping we get a mission with Chloe...ND have said that they are closing every single story thread so I'm sure she's at least mentioned but I bet she shows up...can't wait.

Seems like now may be the time for media blackout if I can handle it, the game will most likely be in reviewers hands soon so there will be spoilers floating around...waited 5 years for the game, I really can't be spoiled in the last 3 weeks!

Sunken city is no surprise - we've seen a screenshot of it. Fans asked for Atlantis and we've got something like it. There's a name of a European country there though which , in its particular case, is a surprise.

Atlantis could be a big thing for the game. Madagascar has a canal which leads to an ocean which leads to the Mediterranean sea, which is where most accounts of Atlantis are from...namely near the islands around Sardinia. Even most of the island shots we've seen have water like you'd see in that area, along with the kind of mountainous land shapes, which isn't something you'd see in the Caribbean as much, which I think some people assumed because of the pirate stuff. Even lots of islands with caves over there.

Would be nice to see UC tackle such a big legend, although not sure how I'd feel about them throwing in the evil supernatural stuff into that legend.

I got a bad feeling it is going to end with Drake dying but it will happen in a way we will not know for sure,...Did he? Didn't he? Hmmmmmm,...I DON'T KNOW!
Neil Druckman did say there will be a big discussion about the ending and a lot of people might hate it.

The first level is called "boat intro" and Arne Meyer recently said that UC4 will have the strongest opening in ND's history. Looks like it's going to be a huge a setpiece, one that we saw snippets of in the CG trailer. Awesome! Can't wait for May 10th!!!
