I used to be a real fan of the Dynasty Warriors-type games, getting Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires for a bit of extra strategy. To be honest I've tired of the formula, however, and this doesn't seem like it'll do much to change that.
The relationship mechanic does add something fresh but it is hard to say who 'will' and 'won't' enjoy this new feature.
One thing worth trying though is the 'create' feature, hours of fun to be had with that!
