Ok that's interesting I'm going to do more research on this before doing so.

"it’s a different beast, not a superior or inferior one.” Lovely clickbait in the title though.

The PS4 will not allow the PSVR to unleash the beast like a high-end PC powering the Rift And Vive will.

Blank3348d ago

This is a true statement but what makes my choice for VR is the games and IPs. Its obvious who has the upperhand on this one. But aside the PSVR the Vive is pretty awesome in itself with its extra features.

starchild3348d ago (Edited 3348d ago )

It's obvious? How? This generation there's more good games coming out for PC that I want than for PS4. I have no reason to think this is going to change with VR. I really like my PS4 and Sony does have some fantastic exclusives, but PC also gets some really great exclusives, plus it gets a lot of exclusives it shares with either the PS4 or Xbox One.

Now obviously this is subjective and you're free to prefer whatever you like, I just don't understand the "it's obvious who has the upper hand with this one" part.

The difference Is it has a noticeably better screen.

Rimeskeem3348d ago

In all honesty, audio will be a massive game changer to VR. Having amazing surround sound and very detailed sound will create a lot of immersion.

Eonjay3348d ago

Especially in horror games.

"PS4 7th CPU Allows For More Audio Effects"
That sounds like some pretty serious techno-babble/bro-science BS

equal_youth3348d ago

It is actually way more difficult to code a good audio atmosphere for a VR game. Sony even invited a lot of Sound designers to teach them about this particular Issue.
