Ken McKown writes: The first time I saw Gryphon Knight Epic, I’ll admit, I was intrigued. Anytime I get a chance to play a horizontal shooter, I get excited. It also helps that this game has a unique look, and an even more unique system. Players take control of a character riding atop a mythical creature, splashing through a pixelated fantasy world dodging bullets and taking down massive enemies. Sounds good so far, and for the most part the game is fine, but there are some setbacks that keep it from being a true hidden gem.
Neil writes "It first dropped onto Xbox One a whole year again, but now, finally, Gryphon Knight Epic has made an appearance in Europe."
This looked quite interesting but I don't think i'll bother with such other great sidescrollers arriving lately

Shoot ‘em ups have earned a permanent spot in the annals of video game history, but it’s no secret that the genre evades many conventions that characterise the current state of the industry. For most shooters, that’s fine and dandy because they have competent mechanics or serve up creativity in some other aspect. Thus, fans are satiated by the chewy centre of that archetypal candy.
Connected Digital World writes: When a developer uses the word ‘Epic’ in their games name, it immediately says two things to me.
Sounds neat but flawed from the review
