The game have a lot of technical issues and the company won't fix them (joining a losing team for instance),a lot of loadings and the servers are broken AF

BLOTGaming3325d ago

I couldn't agree more. It had so much potential to be great and it seems as though Ubisoft have simply dismissed it and moved on, it's disappointing to say the least!

trywizardo3325d ago

yeah,i thought they will fix it in the latest update, but no , it didn't do anything ...
the game is great but getting these stuff makes the XP really frustrating :3

coolbeans3325d ago

Can't say I've experienced those types of issues you're describing yet (on XOne). Are you sure that's still the case? They seemed to release patch notes on it quite often.

BLOTGaming3325d ago

I think it's hit and miss, to be honest. A few of my colleagues have experienced issues where I haven't and vice-versa.

All in all, my experience has been more irritating than not, which has meant R6 has been sitting in a drawer for longer than it's been out.

It's unfortunate, because I had a *lot* of fun with previous installments, too.

well,I use PS4,and I've played only for more than a week (rank 55 tho),I just joined a wining team 2-0 in the third, got 2000 points xD
getting kicked because the host got disconnected or starting the games 1 on 5 because the loading was so long that everyone left...
I thought it was because of my internet connection but i Googled it and a lot of people are having these problems ....
@hardcroehenry:They should at least make an option to stop joining a game in progress at all
specially ranked games ...

Kurt Russell3325d ago

I'm on PS4 and haven't had these issues. So far operator level 62 with over 40 hours of online playing (PS4). This has been one of the most addicting MP shooters I have played in years.

hardcorehenry3325d ago

I'm sorry but... how the hell is joining a losing team a "technical issue"? Do you expect that with JIP you should always join a winning team? Because that's insane. Or is it that you have a problem with JIP itself? Also insane.

When you join a team that is 0-2 against the ropes and help your team come back for a comeback victory.... those are great moments.

I get the feeling that people just hate this game because its UBI. I play on X1 and hit detection is great, JIP is an asset that keeps games alive, and the gameplay is rock solid. Love to see a positive review like this for a great game. I'd give it a 9+ personally.

I don't want to sound mean...but that's what happens when you trust ubisoft...you get burnt...you should have seen it coming...and by buying such a game you support this kind of shitty behaviour from the developers...that's all ubisoft does, makes average games, hypes them to oblivion, sells millions aaand then they abandon them.

BLOTGaming3325d ago

Ubisoft have released some good titles, and do occasionally redeem themselves.
Rainbow Six seems to be hit and miss at best, when it works, it's great. When it doesn't... well, you know the rest.
I'm a big fan of some of the story-tellers contained within Ubisoft, so their single-player titles are a big thing for me, even when they're not great haha
They'll improve... right? Right?!

I don't know what kind of internet you guys have, but the game is silky smooth for me with completely manageable hit detection.

BLOTGaming3325d ago

I for one, have Australian internet. I think that says it all haha

BEASELY3325d ago

It'll be a huge societal gain once internet essentially runs like a cable signal.

It's like a slow moving train wreck..

porkChop43d ago

Rainbow Six is actually a great IP for something like this. I'm assuming it's likely similar to XCOM, and that would be a perfect fit for R6.

S2Killinit43d ago

I’m always excited for a good turn based strategy game.

PapaBop42d ago

Agreed, I'm excited to see how it turns out, hopefully they do Ubi it up.

DodoDojo42d ago

It's my favorite game genre so I'm sold already.

Relientk7743d ago

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

anast43d ago

Obnoxious MT shops might not go with a game like this. Are they sure they want to make an actual game?

SpacedDuck43d ago

Another game that will launch, flop and result in people getting fired.

Just shut up and make a new Splinter Cell and stop milking Siege and make a new Rainbow Six 3 style Rainbow Six game.

S2Killinit43d ago

Do you sound this annoying in real life?

Michiel198942d ago

their turn based mario games were pretty good

Inverno43d ago

That actually fits the series quite well
