Maybe you werent there before GTA? GTA was the first game where I could remember that you can do anything.. And so many other games today use ideas that have began in GTA games.

You're not the only one, I've never cared for GTA either.

In fact none of the games on this list fit the "couldn't put the controller down" category for me, for some I wouldn't even pick up the controller.

@nowitzki, Ive played it on PS2. I just didnt like like it. I figured all the great appeal to was the sandbox fun and multiplayer. I just like a very well told story with strong gameplay. Non of which the GTA series has imo. I do like Red Dead,which is like a Western GTA, but has a cool story and its the Wild Wild West...whats not to like.

To this day i dont no why Msoft wont put out a demo for minecraft on the xboxone ... even give it away with live and get people to buy all there dlc.
