One remaster that fans have been calling for is Skyrim. There’s good news and bad news: first, it’s unlikely you’ll be playing Skyrim: Remastered on PS4 anytime soon, but the good news is that you may be able to play the PS3 version on your PS4 and PS Vita in the near future via PlayStation Now.

Psnow looks amazing, to bad price it's little overpriced

I do have the PS3 version of "Skyrim the Legendary Edition" so I am not overly enthused about playing it via PSNow.

Still if the 6MB bug is fixed? ... Err maybe not since the fix is to turn off auto saves and treat the game like an old school RPG.

I guess it depends on how often you use it. My nephew has a subscription and he plays a lot of games through PS Now. We played Resistance 3 and Borderlands 2 co-op when I was visiting last week. As my first experience with PS Now I was surprised at how well the games played. PS Now isn't something I'll use but if you use it enough I guess the price is justified. I'm just not the type to play old games when new ones are available on the new hardware, so most remasters aren't interesting to me much less backwards compatibility.

I'd love to play Skyrim on my Vita when I'm on the go, but not as a rental. Seems like the controls would have to be changed too.

i doubt it. i just remembered ive seen this pop up a bunch of times since psnow came out. it did the same for mgs4 and still does, it says disc only when you try to play it. weird. maybe they cant/couldnt come to an agreement with the devs or it was an error. they are both humongous games, skyrim being much bigger.

Well, is not like a remaster, or a port, with fixes for some bugs that the PS3 ver. have until today, but, is better than nothing, right?

The game is massive. The money spent renting it to exploring even just a fourth of the gam will probably cost more than buying the game and a used ps3.

Not sure why you got the disagrees. What you have said is correct and if you look around you can get the game plus DLC fairly cheaply and even cheaper second hand.

My fellow western brethen (not all, but a sizable amount) consider any form of criticism as a form of "negativity". I guess it's all those antidepressants.

I think it may be because there is a subscription service. Definitely agree that renting it piecemeal would be outrageous, and I wonder how well it can perform through streaming, but for those who are already subscribed to monthly PSNow, this is just a cool addition to the catalogue.
