So, I think this is one of the main stupid reasons why the FFXV development was delayed many times before, due to the fact that they're also making a movie version in conjunction of the game itself which makes no sense at all. Don't get me wrong guys, I like the concept and the CGI is spectacular. But to delay the game several times and make the fans wait for almost 10 years is unforgivable. Crazy thing is, SE is expecting this game to sell 10 million which is unlikely imo.

They could have just make the film version after the game was released and see if it will succeed just like FF7. You cannot just rely on hype and praise that this game is getting. Look what happened to some CGI quality AAA title games that have lower scores, it flopped so hard. I lose interest in this game since the day they'd changed the concept entirely, Stella is no more, Noctis looks more like Sasuke. So where's Naruto?

youve got it completely wrong.
the cg movie exists for two reason
1) OG versus had 50% of its cutscenes as cg ,while the game's team was working on other games , the cg was probably a long way done.
2) vs13 was to have 2 or 3 parts, this movie in playable form was to serve a 6-8 hours prologue alone, they had to cut it out of the game to keep the game's length reasonable, which is already much longer than your usual ff despite the cuts.this is why the character backgrounds and prologue is being told through cg and anime.
also, XV wasnt delayed versus was, and it most definitely wasnt because they were making a movie

A 90 minutes podcast about FF XV Uncovered and over half of it they talk about anything but ff XV Uncovered...srsly?

Well the whole thing was about FFXV just not the game FFXV. The movie, anime, mobile game, 2 trailers, stupid car were technically all FFXV related

Immediately thought of the El Dorado zombie dudes in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Not necessarily a ‘horror’ moment, but I remember feeling really tense and anxious when the Flood were first introduced in the original Halo. I never felt more on edge or nervous in that whole game as that moment. I think it was the whole buildup that something terrible was coming but you didn’t know exactly what.

Another non-horror game that had me feeling it was Subnautica. The deep dark depths, and knowing that sea monsters were lurking nearby, had me jumping at every sound.

That scene where you first see them attack is pretty crazy!

I remember being scared of the Asylum level in the most recent Thief game from 2014.
