Many people subscribe to Sony’s service for the monthly games alone. They are well within their rights to post that they feel underwhelmed with the next offering.
Armature Studio announced today that the servers for their multiplayer space shooter Dead Star will shut down on November 1.
3 more trophies for platinum, damn you guys I knew this was going to happen. They better fix the level 50 trophy so you can do it in practice.
Dead Star has another update that has just gone live on PS4. The game has been heavily supported since its launch as a PS Plus freebie last month, so it’s good to see the support going strong.

It’s been a busy month for us at Armature Studio with the PS4 launch of Dead Star via PlayStation Plus, and while we have plenty to talk about, we want to kick this off with some extremely exciting news: the stars of Ratchet & Clank are coming to kick some asteroid in Dead Star across a series of community events!
Yes, that’s right! Soon – as soon as tomorrow, actually – you’ll be able to use everyone’s favourite Lombax in Dead Star, with Clank coming shortly thereafter. All you have to do is play Dead Star during the below times, and you’ll instantly unlock the respective pilot portrait.
Whatever.. it is what it is. Some months are going to be fantastic, others, not so much.
I am done worrying about it. If I get some good games, great.
I've been a PlayStation guy since day one. As a pro Sony guy, I'm very disappointed with the lackluster games we get each month. It's not worth the Ps Plus price tag. I feel Sony is getting lazy since they're the king of the Jungle this generation. Here is a list of games that should of been released already:
1. Killzone Shadow Fall
2. InFamous Second Son
3. Knack
4. Bloodborne
5. The Last of Us remastered
It's not bad, could be better. Dead star looks fun to me, and the Vita games Shitsumi and a virus named Tom too (I was like blegh when it first got announced as I never heard of them but actually looking into them they do look fun). Zombi is not for me but hopefully it starts a trend of bringing more retail games to plus
I think Sony really do need to throw in some AAA games every once in a while. As stated in the article, it's obvious that there are a ton of people unhappy at the quality of the PS Plus games.. now many of them are good but younger players in particular probably have zero interest in playing side scrollers that look inspired by the 8/16 bit era.
As someone above has mentioned though, many of us already have the AAA games and if they do add them, people will inevitably complain about already having it but would it really be so bad for older MP games like Killzone and The Last of Us? Even if you have the game already, the population boost could breathe new life into some of these games and in the case of Killzone, potentially even make them extra money with DLC sales like the insurgent class.
I would like to see Sony practice having an equal balance of both AAA and indie games offered on PS+ to please everyone.
