Delays Are Never Bad For Video Games

I hold very true to this quote by Shigeru Miyamoto, Japanese video game designer and producer for Nintendo. Ah yes, Nintendo. Nintendo is infamous for its notorious delays in video games. Just look at what they did with Star Fox Zero and Zelda Wii U. Both were expected to come out in 2015, and wouldn’t you know it, both were delayed into 2016."

They're never bad for the game but they are bad for gamers in the short term, especially when it's a game that's been hyped up for years. Games shouldn't be announced until they're mostly finished, that way you don't have devs rushing to meet a release date and you don't have games being pushed back constantly. It's no surprise that you see delays mostly in AAA Japanese games, because they announce them pretty much the second they have a bit of concept art and a trailer.
