PS: If you're new to KI I recommend the Ultra editions (or Supreme Edition). You get more costumes, colors, and the retro costumes and colors, not to mention lifetime VIP Double XP to rank up and unlock things twice as fast... plus the next four characters a week early.

PSS: Pre-ordering, or buying on Day 1 on Win10 since you can't pre-order there, gets you 18000 Gold, which is a 40 dollar value, free. But don't spend it. Adam Isgreen, the creative director, has repeatedly stated there are things coming you're going to want to save it for, but they haven't announced what just yet.

The thing I wanna know is, I have season 1 combo breaker pack on x1 and I know I can transfer to win 10 but, I wanna know can I just upgrade to get season 2 and 3 for cheaper or am I going to have to buy the whole package?

If I grab the supreme edition will I feel like I am really far behind skill wise? I don't mind playing catch up but exactly how much catch up would I be looking at? This is a curious question really.

It's not a MMO Destiny/Division type situation...it's a fighting game. You pick your fighter and master him/her, then move on to the next character....

Umm there is a skill ceiling here lol. Skill ceilings are different than progression barriers. You don't just "master" a character in the way you are referring. That could take years and years in a fighting game. That did nothing to answer my question though. My question had more to do with the actual players. I wanted to know what the skill barrier looks like in the form of other players. If you don't know the answer or have no insight, don't reply to someone asking a question like this.

Probably get the Supreme Edition but I'm going to wait a bit. I don't want to dish $60 if there are huge issues with the game at launch.
