Hideo Kojima: I’m back in the field

A couple of days ago Kojima flew to the US and met up with Mark Cerny on a ‘secret location’, as he puts it himself. Today, he and his assistant Ayako shared some pictures of Kojima in what appears to be the performance capture studio from Sony he visited earlier this year.

I am back in the field "and wasting my time."

Sunny_D2989d ago

Kojima wastes his time traveling and talking to Mark Cerny.

Gamers waste their time reading another GamingBolt article.

Potato, Po-tah-toe. I guess that evens it out.

These are motion capture sessions at Sony San Diego. MLB = "the field"

Bansai2989d ago

He actually IS wasting time watching some mo-cap sessions for MLB the show.

Anarki2989d ago

Well get back to making games, you're no use in a field!

How is he wasting his time? Looks more like he's doing his job to me.

Kingthrash3602989d ago

Exactly, devs make better games when they are happy..

Just look at the end of mgs
..its like you can see when he was happy to when things made him unhappy.
I say enjoy some relaxing and make something special.

@Rashid Sayed
Everything YOU do is a waste of OUR time, so please stop with your stupid trash already.

Kojima is scouting possible resources that Kojima could use for his studio, either physically or tech info.

You Rashid on the other hand, even using anything MGS related for your icon is a disgrace to Kojima.

It's funny how a comment like that doesn't get tagged for trolling. I have seen much less get labeled as trolling.

Josh Sawyer Reflects on Design Evolution: From Icewind Dale to Pentiment

Josh Sawyer is a name that has been familiar to RPG fans for decades. He's worked on Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity, and most recently Pentiment. How did he get into game development, how has his design philosophy changed over the years, and why did he decide to do Pentiment a little differently?

Those are some great games. Icewind Dale I & II are underrated.

If Larian made Icewind Dale III, I'd lose my mind.

What a fantastic, thorough interview.
