Former GameTrailers Staff have decided to come together to create their own company.

They always had some great stuff and I think it's safe to say that when GameTrailers shut down that everyone felt it. Won't be shocked to see bigger stuff from them as their goals are being reached quickly.

one reason i hated Game Trailers last gen was because of their huge bias towards 360. Switched footages, zooming on the grass blades to make PS3 games look inferior was what made me stop going there. Otherwise, i used to go there for my game trailer dosages. and of course, YouTube also happened.

Having said that, i wish them all the best.

HuberxBosman confirmed. Shenmue hype engaged. For real though, Bosman's show at its best was one of the best game shows going. Dry, sarcastic and glorious.

Totally agree...it was actually the only legitimately funny gaming related content I've personally ever seen, and I've seen quite a bit. Never really laughed out loud at anything else, but Bosman had so many great bits & was edited perfectly. Hope they get to be even more free w/ their content & create the stuff they want to create w/o corporate oversight.

I stopped visiting their site ages ago, got tired of their blatant bias and unfair modding. Wasn't surprised to hear they shut down, I think a lot of people stopped visiting the site for those very same reasons.

I didn't go on their site because it was too much of an inconvenience, but I watched every video as it showed up on their YouTube channel. The staff at gametrailers had this sense of family that no other publication I've followed has had. They also showed such a passion for gaming. One needs only to go on youtube and look up their Sony e3 press conference reactions from last year.

They weren't really biased in the sense that you think. On their casual shows and series, they'd of course show their bias because they were just being themselves, however their reviews were perfectly reasonable and usually tended to be the most informative video reviews you could find from mainstream publications, not counting those smaller youtube channels that do like 20 minute reviews for a single game.

The gametrailers staff had this culture to it that I felt like a part of the family when I saw a new video posted. Whether it was huber hype or mandatory update or the final Bosman , among other videos they did, their videos were always a bright spot on a mundane day.

I personally don't find the Giantbomb crew as entertaining or charming as the gametrailers crew. I watch their quick looks to pass the time on occasion, but aside from that, I don't like the staff enough to be compelled to watch almost every video like I did with gametrailers.

Yes!! Fantastic news, and it's great to see some of the top talent coming together. I hope they follow what Kinda Funny has been able to accomplish. Colin, Greg, and Tim interviewed Brandon Jones not too long ago, where he discussed intentions to launch a new company. All the best to these fine folks!!
