vgPWN:
"The other week, Fallout fans were going crazy over the “news” that Fallout 5 was supposedly in pre-production, and had been leaked by Ryan Alosio, who voices Deacon in Fallout 4. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a major letdown. Alosio has rescinded his claim and now says it was a prank."
We all owe Fallout 76 an irradiated beer or two.
Wouldn’t that change a lot gameplay wise
I mean it’s cool don’t get me wrong but what about Rad infested areas and the like, would Ghouls be able to walk through without a care in the world
I good see the following pros and cons of playing as a ghoul.
pros :
1. Regeneration
2. Radiation immunity
cons:
1. Low charisma and bartering
2. Some NPCs will shoot a ghoul on sight, thus altering guests.
3. Potentially become a glowing ghoul. You emit radiation that can harm your companions but you are empowered by radiation. NPCs that tolerant ghouls may now not tolerant you.
Its about time. They let you choose different classes in elder scrolls, why not fallout?
It may be years away, but whenever it arrives, Fallout 5 needs to improve on its predecessor in several areas.
They really need to get rid of weapon mods and bring back more unique weapons that are hard to get / find
They won't improve it other than a slight graphical upgrade. They have always been better at live action than making games.
Only way it could improve is taking it away from Bethesda and regroup Classic Fallout (1&2) devs with decent budget and time to make it.
Following the success of the TV show, Microsoft is reportedly in talks to fast-track Fallout 5 with the help of a studio other than Bethesda.
Yeah, allow the studio that hasn't slam dunked any games In recent memory to "fast track" the next Fallout game.
Good, microsoft should look at their IP's with value and protect them from devs like bethesda after disasters like Starfield. Everyone would lose their minds if obsidian was able to make another fallout even though the new vegas team is long gone. .
No shit sherlock. I haven't seen a single news about this on the reddit's /r/Fallout, place with 300, 000 fallout fans. So saying that "Fallout fans were going crazy " is kinda wrong. Unless you meant 6 or 10 of them. Then yes.
Also you have no idea what a "hoax" really is. Just look back at The Survivor 2299. Writing something in a non-serious manner is not a hoax.
If you actually buy into these largely-unsubstantiated 'leaks' you deserve to be suckered. MAYBE I'd pay a passing glance to something about an NV (Obsidian) follow-up, but Fallout 5? Jesus, you'd have to be a fool.
True or not it doesn't matter.
Of course Fallout 5 will eventually come out, so who cares whether they started today or they'll start two years from now?
They always stagger the releases between fallout and elder scrolls, so if anything hopefully they're working on the next 'true' elder scrolls game. Can't wait to see what kind of world they create in that universe with the extra horse power they've got to work with now.
