Cracking PC video games over the past year or two has proven to be very time consuming and even futile in some instances. Games such as Battlefield Hardline, Batman Arkham Knight, Dragon Age Inquisition, Just Cause 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain, Mad Max and even the more recently released Far Cry Primal have all utilized the Denuvo DRM.
Far Cry Primal was a bigger switch for the series, and can provide a good template for a possible New Dawn sequel.
Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.
Some games make up for a lackluster story with excellent gameplay. These are some games with average storylines but great gameplay.
Who decides if a games story is average idefinitely ain't listening to no reviewers. I don't agree with most of then anyway. I think alot of them are to harsh on games so they can get clicks
The pinnacle of bad story but great gameplay is Destiny and Destiny 2. What is the Traveler? What is the Darkness? What the heck is happening? No one knew. But shooting the aliens and robots felt so good.
Really great article. I agree with most of what he said. I dont think there is a PC gamer alive that would switch to console because of DRM, but I guess I havent met everyone in the world yet.
"I'm not one to condone or encourage piracy in any way shape or form. However, the one major upside to downloading a PC game is that it gives gamers a chance to give the game a test drive so to speak. If I download a PC game and it works really well on my PC then I will happily remove it and buy a legit copy. On the other hand, if I download a video game and it has lots of issues, glitches and bugs then I won't have to worry about losing my money as a result of buying a non-working product."
steam offers a refund policy if you only play a couple of hours. that's more than fair and i myself have bought an early access game and got my money back.i just didn't like it and it wasn't as advertised. no questions, no problems. downloading it for free and then saying you will buy a legit copy if everything works well you will buy it does not apply to everyone. you have no idea if people will actually go ahead and pay for it.
GOTY The Witcher 3.without Denuvo and the game being available without DRM measures. Why are people telling me that Denuvo is great?LMAO.
DENUVO is going away any way, no matter how long it takes, so it's redundant, to be even discussing it :)
My main problem with stuff like this is future game availability. Let's say for a moment that Denuvo never get's cracked. What happens to future PC retro gaming when the game you want is no longer offered anywhere and you can't download a pirated copy? There are a few PC games I own now (physical copies) that no longer have activation servers so the only way to play was to pirate (I'm not paying twice for a game from some online service when I already own it).
Also, I can't imagine a single reason why anyone would be OK with this. There are people that are literally giddy with excitement that piracy is "dead" as if it affected them in ANY way. YAY! Now you're completely stuck with buying games through sources that have complete control over your purchases!!! Nothing will even go wrong with that! But yeah screw those pirates that are ruining the industry despite it being bigger than it's even been! It makes my life so much better now that they're gone because they never did anything to me in the first place!
