Nathanael from Gamer Professionals writes:
"Black Desert Online is a revolutionary game that brings back features we haven't seen for decades while revamping those we have seen and adding new ones on top of that. The game is huge and will keep you playing for a very long time should you enjoy it. The combat is very well done and is probably the most entertaining part of the game. Questing can be fun, but can also be a drag due to the many hoops you have to jump to unlock them all. Crafting and professions are entirely useless except for self-service so avoid those if you are trying to make a profit. PvP is a lot of fun, but beware that once you unlock it you don't have much of a choice in participating in it. This game comes easily recommended to any fan of MMOs and to anyone looking for a new type of experience."
Black Desert Online is celebrating its 8th birthday with a handful of major milestones since the game Korean launch in 2014.
Today Pearl Abyss hosted its traditional Calpheon Ball news livestream, and the developer of Black Desert certainly had a lot to share.
I'm shocked it's coming to the Xbox consoles, just seems a waste or money and time for little in return.
The seasonal end date has been removed.
I don't know anything about how this game plays, but I know it had launch problems in North America. Glad to see an MMO with a good score. It's such a hard market to get into nowadays.
