Zack H of The Cube gives his opinion on the newest Just Cause 3 DLC
Vic B'Stard writes: "Just Cause 3 gave me plenty of late nights/early mornings when it was released earlier this year. Square Enix are now extending that mayhem with the release of the first DLC expansion, Sky Fortress, available separately or as part of the Land, Air and Sea Season Pass."
It was admittedly short but what was there was pretty fun and having a giant floating carrier base in the sky is cool no matter how you slice it. But my favorite addition has to be the powered wing suit, it just makes the whole JC3 experience that much better.
EG:
The lingering blandness is enlivened by that jetpack, though, which Sky Fortress relies on again and again, often sprinkling a carrier that you've just blasted free of targets with all-new targets to blast at one more, knowing that you'll struggle not to enjoy the simple pleasures of rushing through the air, locking on, and strafing. Besides that, there's a new assault rifle that fires pretty sprays of plasma, and your own portable drone, which I called in once the DLC was complete, and sent it out to liberate a village for me with its machine guns and missiles. We were safely on the ground now, with the horizon open all around us again. Just Cause 3 was back in its element, and comical mishap, I'm delighted to say, ensued.
Recently exclusive to season pass holders, Just Cause 3's first piece of DLC has been released to the general public today.
