I saw 5 of 5 and thought, "I don't know about that. Click bait?" But after hearing a lot of positive feedback from "real" people, I guess it's really pulled itself up out of the gutter of controversy it saw since reveal. Kudos to Ubisoft.

Any game, even the most horrible of games, can be fun with friends/others... Real test is rather or not it can be fun solo... And The Division really is that. I've ran solo for most of my time with it so far, no DZ yet, but I've been truly impressed with it.

It's better than the betas made it out to be... And I really enjoyed the betas.

Look at Gear Boxs Aliens. That was trash and not fun to play alone or with friends. The Division is incredible alone with friends or with matchmaking. Ive played mulitple missions with matchmaking and it was great. Dark Zone with a team of 4 is the best time you will have in a long time.

Truth be told, I was skeptical about this game, but now after playing x amount of hours on it, I am really having so much fun and surprisingly some laughs with friends over funny things that go on. Game is fantastic, I don't get all the negative about this game especially from Angry Joe.

The game is fantastic in solo! Been playing the campaign a ton in solo and it's a blast. Just like any other open-world game really.

Just watch your back in the DZ. Wait till others call pickups, hang back, and run in once/if you think they're friendly (that way if someone tries to gank, you won't be alone).

you can definitely play solo specially the side missions and main missions. But, as someone that has played both solo and co-op I will tell you it's a much better experience playing Co-Op. Also If you have to go into the dark zone to extract better loot it's tough to go in by yourself. It's also very easy to find people online to play with. My friend and I ran into someone that backed us up in a firefight in the dark zone and now he has joined us to play the game ever since for missions, etc. The game also makes it easy to find players to play the missions with, per example before you start each main mission you can select an option to find other players to play that mission with, but tackling it by yourself it's also not out of the question.

Now were seeing more professional reviews from well known sites, not those wannabe sites like Starburst lol. I'm loving the game, been playing everyday, can't wait for the future content as I've also bought the season pass. The only other season pass I've ever bought was The Witcher.

don't know where you seeing or hearing this at, maybe you just want to disrupt the happy feel good that "EVERYONE" AND I MEAN EVERYONE from all platforms is actually enjoying a game for once.

Not everyone is going to enjoy a game, there will always be someone to hate on it. Personally when I played the beta I though it wasn't very good but enjoy the game. You shouldn't worry yourself if other people like it as much as you do since someone will try to spoil your good time. As long as your having fun playing the Division that is really all that matters.

This is an amazing game, especially when compared with Destiny. Unlike Destiny, this sucked me right in. Definitely a true masterpiece of a game. Amazing job Ubisoft. Since I got this on Xbox One, I'll be enjoying the timed exclusive content!

Having gotten to level 30 already just tonight I can say that, for the $30 I paid for it (CDKeys.com!), I've gotten my moneys worth already even if you can get through the main game pretty quickly.

So while the story wasn't incredibly long and there weren't as many main story missions as I would have wanted, especially for a game that's supposed to last considering it's nature and genre, it still pretty good.

Not as good as I would have wanted it to be and not as long or deep but over all very solid.I have to say though that the 2013 and 2014 E3 demos made me expect a lot more, especially in the exploration part of things like sewers and buildings, etc. I figured there would have been a ton of sort off the rails exploration but there really isn't. Granted, there's a ton of the map that isn't touched by any of the missions and stuff, so there is certainly a lot of sight seeing to be had! It's just that there's really no reward...no reason. At least in Fallout 4 or The Witcher 3 roaming around endlessly could have had to coming up on some random mission or some interesting place to explore. Here it's just a bunch of buildings and closed off sewers.

I'm just hoping that the future DLC is actually worth it. I just don't want some new weapons or game play type...I want a whole other story mode following some other plot element so it expands the level of play area. In other words, I don't want the giant beautiful map to go to waste like has been the case with other games (L.A. Noire and Mafia 2 come to mind).

Hmmm...solid product, didn't really reach the hype they made, but definitely worth the price of admission. So yeah, I'd say a good 80-ish out of 100 or so.

I just can't help but feel there's just something...missing. There's a certain level of soul the game doesn't have. I think it might be the citizens that freak out and act like you're going to kill them every single freakin time you walk past them...

It's like, the graphics are very realistic but the other parts of the game are disjointing?

I don't know...anyways I'm rambling now...

Im still playing solo, cuz that is my goal i set out to do. When im done, i will do co op missions. The dark zone i group up with my friends.

Ok there have been a lot of people whining about how this game doesn't impress them. I say they are ignorant, because I honestly don't think there is a game in the world that's really anything like The Division. It's like a really good blend of MMO/SHOOTER/COOP/almost Survival horror. It's like they took aspects that made The Last of Us, Borderlands, and Day Z fun and blended it into 1 great title with plenty of content.

Does the game have some faults? Sure I guess, some repetitive enemies but that's every game. To the people complaining and comparing it directly too other MMOs that have been out for a decade or more, I say that's incredibly narrow minded way to look at the game. Think back to when your favorite MMO first came out, and imagine if that was released today, it wouldn't be able to hold its own now. The Division is in its infant stage and appears to have a well planned and well supported future. It also isn't really a pure MMO, it's also an excellent shooter that would be fun if it didn't have the open world aspect, it's also an amazing recreation of NYC. It's got the fantastic Dark Zone that really is in a way a very unique experience and there's only 1 other title like the Division in this aspect and that's DayZ. I also feel the story is well told through your personal experience with your buddies.

The comparisons to Destiny I think is unfair because this game blows destiny out of the water in almost every way, I think it's more similar to borderlands, and better than borderlands. The game isn't nearly as repetitive as Destiny with its missions and back tracking, the world feels alive unlike the dead worlds of destiny, I think the voice acting and story is better too.

My personal negatives are, I wish the game would give us more character customization to start, more variety in clothing, and the ability to change your hair and facial hair at anytime. Only gripe I have which I'm sure down the road these features will be updated. I'd give this a 9.5/10 easily the most fun I've had playing video games this Gen.
