A perfect score ey.

I'm enjoying The Division far more than I thought I would, it's great game to play with your friends and randoms.

Encounters are gaming crack to me right now. Walking down a street, OH, screw what I was doing, I gotta go do that right now, it can't wait.

nveenio3391d ago

I saw 5 of 5 and thought, "I don't know about that. Click bait?" But after hearing a lot of positive feedback from "real" people, I guess it's really pulled itself up out of the gutter of controversy it saw since reveal. Kudos to Ubisoft.

TwoForce3391d ago

I'm enjoy the game very much.

frostypants3391d ago (Edited 3391d ago )

I like it. Dunno if it's "perfect score" good, but I'd rate it an 85/100. Love the setting so, so much.

Any game, even the most horrible of games, can be fun with friends/others... Real test is rather or not it can be fun solo... And The Division really is that. I've ran solo for most of my time with it so far, no DZ yet, but I've been truly impressed with it.

It's better than the betas made it out to be... And I really enjoyed the betas.

JohnnyPremo3391d ago

Horrible games are not fun with friends. Huh?
Look at Gear Boxs Aliens. That was trash and not fun to play alone or with friends. The Division is incredible alone with friends or with matchmaking. Ive played mulitple missions with matchmaking and it was great. Dark Zone with a team of 4 is the best time you will have in a long time.

iceman063391d ago

IMO, the "real test" is will I be playing this more than a month from now? Will I want to play through it again (for single player)?

BigBosss3391d ago

Truth be told, I was skeptical about this game, but now after playing x amount of hours on it, I am really having so much fun and surprisingly some laughs with friends over funny things that go on. Game is fantastic, I don't get all the negative about this game especially from Angry Joe.

jjb19813391d ago

Angry Joe has to be angry or else it would be happy Joe's happy review. The game is great and I'm glad so many people enjoy it. The community will stay alive.

Lamboomington3391d ago

Angry Joe hasn't put out a review yet.

Are you talking about the preview ? Or some twitter posts or something ?

BigBosss3391d ago

On twitter. He said and I quote "Pretty disappointed with The Division. Going to bed rather pissed off. And a pretty crappy ending to an overall lackluster adventure."

kingmushroom3391d ago

Having so much fun with this game, its real fun with friends.

theshredded3391d ago (Edited 3391d ago )

If Kojima-san was impressed then I am certain that it's an essential game. And can someone tell me if the game's any good in solo?

RuleNumber53391d ago

The game is fantastic in solo! Been playing the campaign a ton in solo and it's a blast. Just like any other open-world game really.

frostypants3391d ago (Edited 3391d ago )

Just watch your back in the DZ. Wait till others call pickups, hang back, and run in once/if you think they're friendly (that way if someone tries to gank, you won't be alone).

Cubanborn873391d ago

you can definitely play solo specially the side missions and main missions. But, as someone that has played both solo and co-op I will tell you it's a much better experience playing Co-Op. Also If you have to go into the dark zone to extract better loot it's tough to go in by yourself. It's also very easy to find people online to play with. My friend and I ran into someone that backed us up in a firefight in the dark zone and now he has joined us to play the game ever since for missions, etc. The game also makes it easy to find players to play the missions with, per example before you start each main mission you can select an option to find other players to play that mission with, but tackling it by yourself it's also not out of the question.

OutcastMosquito3391d ago

So because Kojima said he was impressed it's "essential"? Come on now, that's ridiculous. He isn't a God and it's about time people stop treating him like he's some divine being.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

shinoff2183807d ago

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

-Foxtrot807d ago

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno807d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic807d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman807d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon806d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
