Push Square: "At the end of the day, Hitman's buzzword is freedom. There are so many things to do – and so many ways to do them – that you'll never have to persevere to find something fun to do. It's all in front of you: a bloody, disturbing playground rife with opportunity. The trial and error gameplay brings back memories of older Hitman titles, while new ideas such as the excellent Escalation mode keep things fresh. Simply put, the Intro Pack is a great buy for old fans and new blood alike – there aren't many stealth games of this calibre."
Andrew from TVG writes "When the PS4 was first announced in early 2013, showing off the improved graphical potential of the new hardware was the name of the game. “THIS IS NEXT-GEN!” screamed the operatic adverts from the rooftops, flashing their fancy particle and lighting effects for all to see. And for a while, pretty was enough to keep us all happy."
MonsterVine: "If you’ve ever wanted to see what it’s like to wish upon a monkey’s paw look no further than Hitman."
FuzzyPixels.net: "Early access in all but name, the core elements of Agent 47's return to Blood Money form are all here. We just need the rest of it, and for IO and Square Enix to stop shoehorning dodgy online functionality into proceedings."
I haven't had a single connection error since launch. I agree more of the features shouldn't be hidden behind having to be online, but it has been functioning no problem for me.
