Same here. You never loose anything by waiting.

it's always the same thing with any peripheral that divides the community.

Yeah I'm the same. VR might be a success but you know that the first gen of any tech is always replaced right away with better, smaller and cheaper version within a short time. I'll wait for the "slim" version thank you very much.

I'm not sold on VR at all. I'd rather play with a controller and standard tv. Maybe if I try it sometime I'll change my mind but I'm not plunking down money for a what if.

I've tried an on-rails rollercoaster with Occulus, it was pretty great. Still, I need some on-hands time with actual games in VR before diving in. I want to know how it feels controlling a character with a controller in VR and whether that disconnect is jarring. Need to know how comfortable they are with glasses also.

In general though, I'm very excited for a new way to play and for new experiences. There's some games I'd much rather play in VR than on a standard TV e.g. No Man's Sky which I think will be far better with VR.

You bring up a good point about the glasses, I wear them too. I hope you enjoy your vr experience.
