Some might tell you we went through hell to get you some proper gameplay footage for Tomb Raider: Underworld but I won't. So here it is eventually, you just need to come inside to see Eidos' new baby.
Technically speaking, the game is solid. The environments are big and very detailed, Lara's animations have gotten more natural than before - though it's still close to Lara's original style - and the graphics are just beautiful.
Despite its relatively modest reputation in the greater gaming landscape, Tomb Raider Underworld was a huge game for AI development.

...but too many below average sequels have ruined it somewhat for me. That and the fact that Uncharted was such a great game.
I loved the first Tombraider but not the rest so much although Anniversary and legend weren't bad but i am looking froward to this one.
I liked Uncharted but its more shooty than Tombraider which has been more about exploration, Uncharted didn't really allow for much exploring though i liked it a great deal.
Lara is more versitile than Nate allowing for more diversity in going from A to B and there are more puzzles in Tombraider whereas Uncharted is more about fighting off the bad guys. Depends what you like really. I prefer my gameplay slower giving me time to explore. But Uncharted is great... there different styles.
The animation and platforming look really good. My only gripe is the combat which needs to be overhauled a bit to make it seem fresh. But this is shaping up to be a solid game.
I don't mind the combat as is. I'm more excited about the environmental puzzles and platforming. Uncharted was great but the puzzles were a bit too easy.
rid of the auto aim gameplay..its so dated and not fun...change that and it would be perfect, graphics are nice.
