Release Date Trailer of No Man's Sky in 60fps.
The game looks absolutely beautiful. No Man's Sky + Virtual Reality = Goodbye Real Life.
Yeah I know right. And they have a limited edition going on sale. It's great...I just wish the Steelbook artwork wasn't the black sheep of the package and looks bland and boring. It's just silver with the Atlus in the middle.
Its not that bad tbh
Compared to something like this http://images.pushsquare.co... Come on...
No Man's Sky Limited Edition pre-order confirmed!! Ratchet and Clank, April. Uncharted 4, May. No Man's Sky, June. Impressive....very impressive. And oh yeah, a little thing called Dark Souls. I am officially excited.
OMG! Unreal. This should have launched with PSVR. Anyway, this game has so much damn potential. I hope it does well and is supported like an mmo.
This could really turn out to be something unique, time will tell.
I do hope in later updates they add onto the small building features it's supposed to have. Would be nice for DLC/Expansions to feature Minecraft like gameplay. Build a little house on your favourite worlds. Maybe if you get rare materials you can teleport to them.
From Interviews, a big focus of theirs is to not encourage staying in one place. So, don't think you'll see buildings. But maybe Space Stations?
Oh yeah in the core game. I just meant later on on in a sequel I think the whole "moving on" and "not staying in one place" is because they want a good excuse why there's not many around. But I still would like to build my own little places. Outposts.
They'll be quite a few building. They just said they'll be research stations and stuff you can steal from to learn new stuff. But yea building stuff I think would ruin the whole deseign and focus. But maybe I'm wrong.
It would be cool to be able to visit a world and find an abandon base years after it was built. Just waiting for a new owner. Would really add to the game for me.
This looks amazing. If it is a launch VR title, this will be a system seller imo.
Looks really good. The people and sites saying a few months ago that this game was in development hell look silly now.
So is June 22 the official release date for PSVR?
Honestly, I think it is. I fully expect this to be a launch title for PS VR and THAT is why it has taken so long to nail down a release date.
It's taken so long to nail down a release date because they're an indie team that has had their office flood and their work destroyed. On top of having to develop a Playstation 4 version of the title.
I got that part of it, but the way Sean has been talking lately, it sounds like they're working on VR right now.
Did they seriously use all old years old footage for the release date trailer? Is expecting new in-game footage too much?
This looks like one of those "game within a game" games. In other words, the kind of time sink I try to stay away from, lest I become the world's most legendary hermit. When I get hooked on something, it stays hooked. I'm a creature of habit, so with how endless this game is, its probably safer to stay away.
I wonder if you'll be able to share your location with friends and then have them rendezvous with you so you can explore together?
Still skeptical because they still haven't shown anything we haven't seen and with no story/missions/or narrative gives no real reason or drive to progress and the $60 price tag is really steep for what looks to be a $20/30 game tops. They need to put out a demo or a PS+ beta because a lot of people are skeptical and they've done nothing to explain why we should but this game. Even the previews, as nice as the positivity is, they all literally say "we walked around, enjoyed the wildlife, and fly away" doing that over and over is going to get boring real quick if there is no reason to be doing any of this.
They said theres stuff they dont want to talk about, I dont see why developers have to share every little detail and risk spoiling the feeling of discovery. If you think 60 is steep for what they have shown so far then its probably not a game for you. I can see it now though, tons of people who are not sure about the game will buy it because of hype alone and then complain. Its just not smart to buy a game that doesn't interest you. You cannot say the game is worth 20 or 30 if you've not even played it.
But if all they have shown is the same thing over and over then it's not worth 60 bucks and you can tell from trailers. They even said that's ALL YOU DO. I get and like when devs hold things close to their chest but they are holding back the reason why we should buy the game and that's not a good thing. It'd be the same if someone offers you a shiny button to buy and when you ask why should you buy it they reply with "it's a shiny button". No Man's Sky a game where you walk/fly around space and explore, okay but why should I spend money on this title, look you can walk around and the fly in space....totally avoids the question and shows you what you've already seen.
@summons I think your just a hater Games are worth billions. Your just lucky that games are big right now so everyone is splitting that initial cost with you. $60 for a product that has10 thousand talented man hours of work seems to be pretty reasonable. Especially considering most of those guys make more than 60$ an hour. Way a go you afforded one hour of a standard developer. Why shouldn't I spend my money it looks fun and at a low price of 60.
Story? LMFAO! Buddy....so you just never read what this game was huh? Just decided to make up in your mind what you thought or wanted it to be huh? Are you serious?
I hope the controls are basic and not like elite dangerous controls! They did my brain in even after watching all the tutorials I still couldn't do it and lost patience. I'm hyped up for this but don't want the controls over complicated.
Elite: Dangerous uses the same basic controls Warthunder does. How can it be that difficult for you to figure out?
I've no idea what your going on about. I've never heard of war thunder. And not everyone can grasp the controls man. They're difficult.
You would have to be living under a rock to not hear of Warthunder, it's a direct competitor to world of warplanes/tanks and is constantly talked about. And the controls can be customized so that you're using a maximum of six keys. They also allow controller support. There are no excuses.
just literally got back from Gamestop... pre-ordered the Limited Edition.. paid in full.. Cna't wait for June 21st!!!
Looks really amazing. I'm hoping for the best. Love me some good sci-fi..
Your universe awaits! If this game has PSVR, I will probably loose myself on that universe
BUT it no Elite Dangerous
