Trent from Zero1Gaming takes a look at Masquerade: The Baubles of Doom by Big Ant Studios and has a few choice words regarding the game's definition of "comedy".
The game has some promise but David really did not enjoy playing this rather poor game.
"If Big Ant returns to this world, and it seems like they intend to, I would hope they drastically revise the combat and visual performance. Fix that damn camera and give Jaxx a wider variety of combos. If you’re going to try and do Arkham combat, do it right. Either way, I see promise in the characters and I like the Jester vs Clowns idea, but this game simply isn’t worth the time or money it’s asking you to invest in my humble opinion.!
Masquerade is an action-adventure set in the fantasy world of The Realm, centered around a battle for the mythical Druid Orbs, the most powerful pair of balls in all the land. For it was said that whomever possessed the Orbs, possessed the power to rule all. From foreign shores came the Clowns, an army of morose maniacs determined to find the Orbs. And so began the Great Clown Invasion.
