Chivalry: Medieval Warfare developers Torn Banner Studios has announced Mirage: Arcane Warfare, a magic and melee-focused multiplayer first-person shooter.
Torn Banner Studios released a teaser trailer today, but will release the full announcement gameplay trailer next Wednesday, March 9.
Tomas Franzese of DualShockers writes, "To see what causes smaller multiplayer titles to fail, I took a closer look at The Culling 2, LawBreakers, Mirage: Arcane Warfare, and Laser League."
Exactly! There are a whole hell of a lot of games out there and the bigger one will almost always push the others out.
From GameWatcher: "Mirage: Arcane Warfare is a first-person multiplayer action game that's handled by the folks behind Chivelry, and you may have noticed that it's disappeared from Steam today. Unfortunate it will not be coming back, and it's because of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)."
Mirage: Arcane Warfare has been in quite a pickle since its May release and it's mostly due to the fact that no one is playing it. The game's low player count has been drastically increased since the developer decided to give it away for completely free for today only.
